Capture the road ahead and every reaction behind the wheel. PinIt Cam automatically turns your best laps into videos worth sharing.
Choose how your footage looks. Swipe through each mode — every one records with full telemetry and stabilisation.
Track and driver split 50/50. The full story in one frame.
Pure forward view. Maximum immersion with telemetry overlay.
All about the reactions. Perfect for social content.
Full track view with a floating driver window.
Front and rear cameras. One tap recording. The rear captures the track ahead, the front records your reactions. Synced, overlaid with real-time telemetry, and ready to share.
No scrubbing. No editing. PinIt Cam analyses your session and tags the moments that matter — each algorithm reads different driving data to surface your best clips, ready to build into a reel with one tap.
Full throttle through apex. Steering angle, G-force peak, and throttle application combined.
Serious deceleration events. Late apexes, threshold braking, weight transfer moments.
Unexpected corrections — slides caught, off-track recoveries, reactive steering that saved it.
Maximum velocity sections. Sustained top speed where you held your nerve.
Rapid acceleration from low speed. Standing starts and pit exit launches.
High activity across multiple sensors simultaneously. The memorable ones.
Audio spike detection. When the car surprises you and you can't help but react.
Braking deep into a corner. The difference between fast and faster.
Sudden extreme G-force spikes. Barrier strikes, car contact, or significant kerb impacts — automatically flagged so critical clips are easy to find.
Speed, distance, session time and a live track map — burned directly into your footage. On supported circuits, PinIt Cam knows exactly where you are: brushing the gravel at Paddock Hill or dropping into the Karussell shows up by name, not as a timestamp. Fun and immersive, not race-engineer precision — and more circuits are added with every update.
53 mapped circuits and counting — every one with a track map, a real start/finish line and automatic lap timing. On 31 of them PinIt Cam also names the section you're on, so your footage reads "Paddock Hill" and "Karussell", not a timestamp. New circuits and corner names added with every update. Share sessions driver-to-driver — no internet or mobile signal needed. PinIt finds the overtakes and battles between you, then builds one reel from everyone's footage. The whole group's day, in a single video.
Optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Export in 9:16 vertical for stories or 16:9 widescreen for YouTube — one click generates both formats from the same highlight.
Duration, distance, top speed, storage — all at a glance. Tap into any session to review footage, telemetry, and highlights.
Everything you need to know about PinIt Cam.
PinIt Cam requires an iPhone with dual cameras (front and rear simultaneously). This means iPhone XS or later. For the best experience with all three lens options (ultra-wide, wide, telephoto), we recommend iPhone 12 Pro or later.
Both cameras record simultaneously. The rear camera captures the track ahead while the front camera records your reactions. Both feeds are synced with GPS telemetry and stored as a single session on your device. Mount your phone portrait or landscape — PinIt Cam detects which way up you are when recording starts, so you don't have to set anything. You choose the layout and the orientation afterwards, when you export: split screen, track only, driver only, or picture-in-picture, in portrait or landscape.
No. Everything stays on your device. PinIt Cam has no server, no cloud storage, and no backend. Your footage never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it. We can't see your recordings because we chose not to build the ability to.
Yes. Paddock Mode lets you share sessions peer-to-peer between phones — no internet needed. PinIt automatically aligns footage by GPS timestamps, detects overtakes and battles, and generates group highlight reels with every driver getting screen time.
Nine detection algorithms analyse your GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, and microphone data to find the moments that matter — committed corners, hard braking, big saves, flat out sections, strong launches, wild moments, audio spikes, late brakes, and impacts. No manual editing required.
Everything is free — the whole app, every feature. Dual camera recording, all three lenses, full stabilisation, GPS telemetry, the track map with corner names, the g-force meter, lap timing, automatic highlight reels, Paddock Mode, your own logo on exports, full-HUD playback and clip trimming. Free users can export from five sessions each month. Pro does one thing: it removes that limit, so you can export from as many sessions as you like. No features are locked away — it's a one-time purchase, never a subscription.
PinIt Cam Pro is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. Founder pricing is the introductory price of £19.99 — it will rise once the app finds its feet. Buy at the founder price and unlimited exports are yours permanently, at no further cost, on every device signed in to your Apple ID.
Yes. Recording, playback, highlight detection, and export all work completely offline. GPS uses satellite signals, not mobile data. Paddock Mode sharing uses peer-to-peer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth — no internet or router required. The only thing that needs a connection is the one-time Pro purchase through the App Store.
PinIt Cam is built for long track sessions — the capture settings were chosen by testing in a hot car, not for spec-sheet numbers, and the preview blanks while you record so the phone isn't heating up drawing a screen nobody's watching.
But physics is physics. On a genuinely hot day, in direct sun, on a long stint, your phone will get warm and iOS will eventually step in to protect itself. PinIt Cam adjusts as it heats and shows a banner when it does — recording keeps going. If your phone ever reaches the point where iOS stops the cameras, everything recorded up to that moment is saved.
What genuinely helps, in order: airplane mode, keeping it out of direct sun, taking the case off, starting each stint as cool as you can, and giving it time to cool between sessions.
The whole app is free. Pro just lifts the monthly export limit. Buy once, own it forever — never a subscription.
PinIt Cam Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. It is not a subscription — there is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. Founder pricing is an introductory price and will increase; buy at the founder price and PinIt Cam Pro stays yours at no further cost. By purchasing you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
